COVID-19 Policy Updates

On March 11th, 2020, the World Health Organization characterized the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic. Additionally, on March 13th, 2020, the United States government declared that the outbreak a national emergency. We at Children First are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. Through this troubling time, we remain committed to the health and well being of our patients. After much consideration, we are taking special precautions to comply with guidelines dictated by public health officials, limit the spread of the virus, and ensure that our patients and their loved ones stay safe. We are making the following changes:

  • We will no longer accept walk-in sick patients. If you are sick please call ahead so that we may discuss appointment options. This includes telemedicine appointments. For a telemedicine registration form please click here

  • When making an appointment we will question you on the patient's symptoms. This will help guide us on the most appropriate step in the patient's healthcare management.

  • To connect to us via telemedicine consultation (video call) you must have one of the following: Google Duo, Zoom,  or Healow.  Please do not engage in any telemedicine appointments while you are driving or are in public.

  • We recommend wearing a  face mask while you are in public.

  • See our home page for more information regarding COVID-19 policies.

If your child gets sick outside of our office hours don’t’ hesitate to call. Please leave a message with the patient's name, date of birth, and a brief description of the child’s problem. We are continuously monitoring all messages and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time. Please, call us if you have any questions regarding our policy changes.
